On October 27, the Liger star unveiled the trailer of Samantha’s upcoming film, Yashoda, and shared a special message for her. In his caption, he mentioned that he was in love with the actress when he saw her for the first time on the big screen. The two stars will be seen sharing screen space in Kushi, which is tipped to be a romantic film directed by Shiva Nirvana.

On October 27, Vijay Deverakonda launched the trailer of Yashoda. He wrote, “Was in love with her, when as a college kid I saw her on the big screen for the first time. Today I admire and adore her for everything she is. So very happy to share with you all @Samanthaprabhu2’s new film #YashodaTrailer. In theatres 11-11-2022 (sic).”

Earlier this year, Samantha celebrated her birthday on April 28 on the sets of Kushi. Vijay Deverakonda and the team surprised her on the film sets. She hugged him tight and thanked everyone for the beautiful surprise.

Yashoda is a science fiction action thriller written and directed by Hari and Harish. In the film, Samantha plays the role of a surrogate mother, who gets entangled in a life-threatening situation. Unni Mukundan, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Rao Ramesh, Murali Sharma and Sampath Raj form the supporting cast. The film is produced by Sridevi Movies.
