Sara Ali Khan dons plain kurta as she heads for shoot in metro train

Anurag Basu had announced his upcoming film titled Metro Inn Dinon with new pair Sara Ali Khan and Aditya Roy Kapur. Seems like the shooting for the same has started now. Ahead of that, Sara took to her Instagram stories to post a picture of herself seated in a Mumbai Metro as she travelled for shoot. She also tagged her co-star Aditya Roy Kapur.

Sara Ali Khan might not have had any releases in 2022 but next year surely looks exciting for her. After Gaslight with Vikrant Massey, she has now started shooting for Anurag Basu’s new film titled Metro…In Dinon. Sara took to her Instagram stories and posted a picture of herself seated in a crowded Mumbai Metro as she travelled for shoot. She also waved at the camera.

The actresss included the song In Dino from the original 2007 film Life In A… Metro. Sara is seen wearing a comfortable white and pink printed top. She captioned it, “Didn’t think I would be in Mumbai Metro (metro emoticon) Before you guys @anuragbasuofficial @adityaroykapur (sic).” Sara also added the caption Mumbai Meri Jaan in the story.

The upcoming film will boast an ensemble cast of Aditya Roy Kapur, Sara Ali Khan, Anupam Kher, Neena Gupta, Pankaj Tripathi, Konkona Sen Sharma, Ali Fazal, and Fatima Sana Shaikh. Metro…In Dinon will be produced by T-Series and Anurag Basu Productions.

The film showcases the bittersweet tales of human relationships based in contemporary times. The audience will not only experience a fresh storyline but also a fresh pairing with Aditya Roy Kapur and Sara Ali Khan. The film will be directed by Anurag Basu. The music will be composed by Pritam.

Sara was last seen in Gaslight, which received mixed reviews from critics. It featured Vikrant Massey and Chitrangada Singh in key roles. Sara is currently busy with the filming of Ae Watan Mere Watan. Recently, Karan Johar also revealed that Sara has been signed for two films under his banner. He further added that he was ‘excited’ about teaming up with her for the new projects.
