Pakistani Taliban claim multiple overnight attacks on police
Islamabad – Pakistan Taliban targets police in several overnight attacks in the capital, Islamabad, and northwest of the country. Three police officers and three attackers were killed in a shootout, the police and a militant spokesman on Tuesday.
The first attack took place in Islamabad on Monday night, raising fears that rebels had a presence in one of the safest cities in the country. An officer and two attackers were killed in the attack.
