Pakistani Ambassador to Kabul has expressed serious concern for the country’s active presence of foreign terrorist groups in Afghanistan, which uses Afghan land to carry out attacks and terror related activities in Pakistan.

Mansoor Ambassador Ahmed Khan said that terror groups such as Daesh and Al-Qaeda pose a serious threat to Pakistan when they facilitate, support, and operate together with terror groups in Pakistan.

‘The terrorist organization present in Afghanistan has pose a threat to Afghan security as well as other countries, including Pakistan. Daesh is there, and the remains of Al-Qaeda may be there. Then there are elements such as the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), Baloch Guerrillas and many other groups, ‘said Ahmed Khan during an interview with the Afghan tolo news.

Khan also revealed security issues along the Durand line, hoping to solve this problem with the Taliban leadership in Afghanistan.

“The fence was established or installed in previous years when cross-border terrorism was at its peak. One way the Pakistani government can handle this problem is to establish a fence,” he said.

Khan’s reservation raised the question of the Taliban leadership of the Islamic Emirates, because he did not approve the presence of foreign terrorist groups on his land. Afghanistan Taliban also ensure that the Afghan land will not be used against anyone.

This is related to mentioning that the Taliban regime does not recognize Line Durand, a problem that has increased tensions between the two countries in the past, when the Taliban fighters took off the fence, claiming that Pakistani authorities had installed a fence in the Afghanistan region.

“Given the current difficult conditions, Afghanistan must have good political, economic and social relations with his neighbors, especially Pakistan,” said Sayed Haroon Hashmi, a political analyst.

Pakistan has also increased the same concern for UNSC, calling for a global body to bear the lembar responsibility that continues to support, finances and sponsors cross-border terrorist attacks.

It is clear that all of the Taliban leadership in Afghanistan and Pakistani authorities, as a problem of Durand Line’s fence, cross-border terrorism and the presence of foreign terror groups in the land of Afghanistan revived the memory of the exchange of the same accusations between the two countries during the previous Ashraf Gani government in Afghanistan .
