Brahmastra box office: Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt film sees worldwide gross collection of₹75 crore on opening day

Brahmastra Part One: Shiva has a good start in theaters around the world when released on Friday in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada. Starring Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt together for the first time, director Ayan Mukerji opened at the Worldwide Gross Collection ₹ 75 Crore.

According to boxofficeindia.com, it was collected in the range ₹ 35-36 crore on all versions in the domestic box office on the first day. This makes it the highest non-vacuum release in Hindi, only after Baahubali: the conclusion. The report states that the Hindi version itself collects ₹ 32-33 Crore Nett on the opening day. Another report from Portal said the film was led for collections around the world more than ₹ 200 crore on its opening weekend.

Produced by Star Studios and Dharma Productions, Brahmastra is currently running in theaters in 2D, 3D and IMAX 3D. This also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Mouni Roy and Nagarjuna Aknoleni. The version of the film Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam were presented by SS Rajamouli from RRR and Baahubali’s fame.

The film trading analyst Taran Adarsh shared on Friday that the film released on 5019 screens in India and around 3894 screens abroad, made it a total screen number of 8,913 screens. This film has also recorded a decent face booking for the weekend.

Brahmastra Part One: Shiva is the first in the Astraverse Ayan trilogy. It is being praised for the use of VFX in turning on the action scenes on the screen.
