The highest leader of the Taliban Amaullah Akhundzada on Wednesday said that the Land of Afghanistan would not be permitted to be used to carry out attacks on other countries.

His comments emerged in the midst of greater concerns by India and several other countries in the region about the possibility of accelerating terrorist activities by terror groups based in Afghanistan after the arrest of the Taliban power in Kabul last year.

In a message in front of Eid al-Fitr-Azha, Akhundzada also said that Kabul wanted good relations with the international community, but at the same time asked him not to interfere in the internal affairs of Afghanistan.

We convince our neighbors, regions and the world that we will not allow anyone to use our region to threaten the security of other countries. We also want other countries not to interfere in our internal affairs,” Akhundzada said.

Within the framework of interaction and reciprocal commitment, we want good, diplomatic, economic and political relationships with the world, including the United States, and we consider this to be the benefit of all parties,” he said.

Last month the Afghan Ambassador to India Farid Mamundzay said that there had been a significant increase in terrorist activities throughout Afghanistan since the Taliban in power.

Mamundzay, appointed by the Ashraf Ghani government, previously, also said that the Taliban had a symbiotic relationship” with various terror groups.

The envoy said that 21 terrorist groups operated in Afghanistan and the current economic crisis provided a “perfect” foundation for terror groups to recruit people.

Islamic Emirates pay attention to education, with special emphasis on religious and modern studies for children, Islamic emirates understand their importance and will work hard for further improvement,” he said.

Last month, India rebuilt its diplomatic presence in Kabul by mobilizing the “technical team” at his embassy in the capital of Afghanistan.

India has attracted its officials from the embassy after the Taliban seized power last August after concern over their security.

Reopening the embassy came weeks -weeks after the Indian team led by JP Singh, the Points of the Foreign Ministry for Afghanistan, visited Kabul and met with Acting Foreign Minister Mawlawi Amir Khan Muttaqi and several other Taliban dispensation members.

During the meeting, the Taliban team had convinced the Indian team that adequate security would be given if India sent officials to the embassy in Kabul.

India has not recognized a new regime in Afghanistan and has thrown it for the formation of a true government -entered inclusive in Kabul besides insisting that Afghan land should not be used for any terrorist activities towards any country.

Concerned over developments in Afghanistan, India hosted a regional dialogue about the situation in the country last November which was attended by NSAS from Russia, Iran, Kazakhstan, Kirgistan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan.

Countries that participate vowing to work to ensure that Afghanistan is not a safe place for global terrorism and calls for the formation of an “open and truly inclusive” government in Kabul with representatives of all parts of Afghan society.
