Shehzada box office collection Day 3: Kartik Aaryan’s film registers decent numbers on Sunday

Kartik Aaryan and Kriti Sanon’s Shehzada recorded a decent collection on its third day at the box office. The film saw a slight increase in collections on February 19. All eyes are now on the film’s performance in theatres on Monday, February 20. This will determine the theatrical run of Shehzada. For the uninitiated, Shezada is the official Hindi remake of the Telugu superhit film, Ala Vaikunthapurramloo, starring Allu Arjun and Pooja Hegde.

Shehzada graced the screens on February 17 amid massive expectations. However, the film failed to impress the audience and received a mixed response from the critics as well.

On its opening day, Shehzada earned Rs 7 crore at the box office in theatres. However, on Sunday, February 19, the film saw a slight increase in collection. Early estimates suggest that the film earned over Rs 7.30 crore nett in India.

Shehzada’s theatrical run will depend on its performance in theatres on Monday, February 20. If the film sees a massive drop, it slows down the momentum, which then becomes difficult to pick up.

Shehzada, which is bankrolled by Kartik Aaryan, Bhushan Kumar, Allu Arvind, and Aman Gill, has music by Pritam. Shehzada marks the return of Kartik Aaryan to the big screen after Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, directed by Anees Bazmee, which emerged as a blockbuster. Shehzada is directed by Rohit Dhawan and co-produced by T-Series Films, Haarika & Hassine Creations, Geetha Arts and Brat Films.

Shehzada also stars Kriti Sanon, Paresh Rawal, Manisha Koirala, Rajpal Yadav, Ronit Roy and Sachin Khedekar. The storyline of the film follows a young man named Bantu who is hated and neglected by his father ever since he was a toddler. His world is turned upside down when he learns the truth about his birth.
