Veteran Actor Krishna, Mahesh Babu’s Father, Dies

Stager Telugu actor Krishna failed on Tuesday at a megacity- grounded privatesuper-specialty sanitarium where he was witnessing treatment following a cardiac arrest.
He was 80.
Mr Krishna, father of megastar Mahesh Babu, was admitted to the sanitarium in the early hours of Monday and was put on ventilator.
He was being treated by amulti-disciplinary platoon of croakersfollowing the cardiac arrest. The actor passed away at 4 am on Tuesday, sanitarium sources said.
Mr Krishna, firstly Ghattamaneni Siva Rama Krishna Murthy, had acted in 350 flicks and was one of the top actors of his time. He was also a successful director and patron. He was fete with the Padma Bhushan in 2009.
Mr Krishna was also the father- in- law of TDP leader Jay Galla. He’d joined the Congress and came an MP in the 1980s but quit politics after former PM Rajiv Gandhi’s death.
His woman
and Mahesh Babu’s mama Indira Devi failed in September this time. His elder son Ramesh Babu failed in January. Actress Vijaya Nirmala, who was his alternate woman
had failed in 2022.
