Deepika Padukone to Play Ranbir’s Mom in Brahmastra 2; OTT Version Reveals Actress’

Brahmastra, directed by Ayan Mukerji and produced by Karan Johar, came one of the biggest blockbusters of the time, collecting further than Rs 400 crores worldwide. The film features Ranbir Kapoor as the nominal idol Shiva, his actor- womanAlia Bhatt, Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna Akkineni and Mouni Roy in crucial places.

Brahmastra Part One Shiva, which was released on September 9, is the first in an ambitiously planned trio, marks the morning of a new cinematic macrocosm, ‘ The Astraverse ’. The film lately dropped on Disney Hotstar and garnered emotional views despite running in theatres for nearly two months. Interestingly, the OTT interpretation of the film gives a clear regard of Deepika Padukone, who was rumoured to be playing Ranbir’s mama , Amrita, in Brahmastra Part II- Dev. When the part I was released in theatres, some suckers, who had watched it in IMAX, claimed that they spotted Deepika in the film. While others, who watched it in 2D, said the actress was n’t visible at all.

Now, the OTT interpretation of the film has cleared all the dubieties girding Deepika’s casting as Amrita in Brahmastra 2. In this interpretation, Deepika is easily visible in one scene which comes right after the interval where she’s seen holding baby Shiva in her hands. There are reports that Deepika’s character might shape the entire progress and metamorphosis of Shiva.

suckers, who could n’t watch the film in IMAX, was surprised to spot Deepika when they rewatched the movie on Disney Hotstar. One addict wrote, “ moment, I watched Brahmastra for the alternate time. I had n’t noticed Deepika Padukone ahead. But this time, it was so apparent that she’s there in the film! She has to be there in the alternate part too.” Another bonesaid, “ Rewatching Brahmastra and I see Amrita is Deepika. Shiva’s mama ! This wasn’t visible in the theatres for sure.”
