Prime Minister Ritish Boris Johnson and French President Emmanuel Macron said on Sunday that they saw “the opportunity to change the waves” in Ukraine, when London warned not to try to “resolve” the conflict now.
A Downing Street spokesman said the leaders, the meeting at the G7 Summit in Germany, “Agree This is a critical moment for the course of conflict, and there is an opportunity to change waves in war”.

But Boris Johnson also warned Emmanuel Macron that “every effort to resolve the conflict now will only cause eternal instability”.

It is also at risk of giving Russian President Vladimir Putin “to manipulate sovereign countries and international markets forever,” Johnson warned, according to the spokesman.

Unlike the French President, who continued to dialogue with Putin, Johnson had rejected the talks with the leader of the Kremlin, which he called “dictator” since Russia invaded Ukraine on February 24.

In an interview with British media, the British Prime Minister said that the West should have a “very, very honest” discussion about the fall of war, including inflation.

Asked if he was worried that support for Ukraine was weakening in the face of a conflict reverse blow, Johnson said he thought “The pressure was there and anxiety was there, we had to be honest about it”.
