Russian Crisis Ukraine highlighted: Four people were killed when houses in the city of Ukraine Zhytomyr was hit on Tuesday by Russian roaming missiles which seemed to be addressed at the nearest air base, Anton Gerashchenko, adviser to the Interior Minister of Ukraine, said in his telegram channel.
The Russian Ministry of Defense said that it planned to launch a “high-precision strike” in Kyiv and asked for its residents to leave. In a statement issued on Tuesday, the Ministry of Defense said that Russia prepared to launch a “high-precision strike” against “Ukrainian security services (SBU) and 72nd center for information and psychological operations (PSO)” in Kyiv. “We urged Ukrainian residents involved by the Ukrainian nationalist in provocation to Russia, as well as Kyiv’s residents who lived near the relay station, to leave their homes,” said the statement.
Previously on Tuesday, an Indian student lost his life in the shooting in Kharkiv. A spokesman for MEA Arindam Bagchi stated, “With deep sadness, we confirmed that an Indian student lost his life in the shooting in Kharkiv this morning. The Ministry was related to his family. We express our deepened condolences to the family,” he tweeted. Students have been identified as Naveen Shekharappa Gyanagoudar, 20, from Karnataka. He is a fourth medical student at the National Medical University of Kharkiv.
More than 70 Ukrainian soldiers were killed by Russian rocket attacks and dozens of civilians have died in the shooting of “savage”, the Ukrainian authorities said on Tuesday, because the large Russian military convoy approached the capital Kyiv.
